Awareness Programme held

Shillong, Feb 23: The Department of Telecommunications, Government of India conducted an Awareness Programme on EMF Emissions and Telecom Towers on February 23, 2017 at Shillong Club, Shillong.The awareness programme was conducted to address the myths and misconceptions related to emissions from telecom towers and to spread the message that these towers are safe and  that there are no convincing scientific evidence of mobile towers causing adverse health effects.
