SHILLONG, March 29: The Seng Samla (youth organization) of Mawlai Nongpdeng on Wednesday organized an awareness programme to enlighten the youths on the dangers of drugs and other toxic intoxicants. The programme was organized in collaboration with the NSS Unit Seng Khasi College at Indoor Stadium Mawlai Nongpdeng. Superintendent of Police, East Khasi Hills, Davis NR Marak while speaking at the programme urged the youths to be more alter with it comes to drugs because the habit of using drugs will ultimately lead to various crimes including rape, murder etc.
