Awareness programme of GJB held

GUWAHATI, September 1: The Guwahati Jal Board (GJB) organized an awareness programme about the supply water scheme of GJB at Ujjal gar of Kahilipara and Mathuragar in the city today.

GJB source said: "Both the area of the city are under South-middle Guwahati Supply water project of GJB and so, the people were notified with the latest information of the supply water project of GJB with a documentary film and discussion session. The infrastructure needed for the GJB water supply project are preparing by GJB with latest technology, for which the people will get 24x7 water supply once after completion of the whole procedure. Therefore, the people were requested to cooperate with the working of GJB for quick implementation of the project and notified all the information related to the project."
