Awareness programme on cashless transactions

Dibrugarh, Jan 20: Nehru Yuva Kendra,(NYK) in collaboration with United Rural Self Employment Training Institute (RSETI), on Thursday organized a programme on cashless transaction at Dillibari in Dibrugarh.  The programme was iugurated by Bedabrata Bhuyan, District Youth Co-orditor in Charge of NYK.   In his iugural speech, he asked the youths and the people to avail the benefit of the cashless transaction and requested the bank people to take up necessary steps to provide prelimiry training on cashless transaction to the people particularly in rural and tea garden areas.  

He assured to extend all possible help and support from the side of NYK, here and asked the tiol Youth Volunteers of NYK, Dibrugarh to come forward to provide all possible help and support on cashless transaction without any hesitation.

 Amitabh Bhattacharjee, Director of United Rural Self Employment Training Institutation, who attended the programme as the chief resource person and representative of the Regiol Office of United Bank of India, explained the different methods of cashless transaction like E-Wallet, Net Banking, Mobile Banking, Debit and Credit Cards, Premium Debit Cards, Ru-Pay Cards, VISA Cards etc and the utilizing procedure of the same through power point presentation.  The participants coming from Dillibari, Nilmoni, Rajgarh, Bhalukmora, Baghmora and nearby areas of Tingkhong Development Block besides Doli Saikia, Munmi Sonowal and Devajanee Baruah were present at the programme.
