Awareness programme on drug abuse

SHILLONG, March 31: The Khasi Student Union (KSU) , Jaiaw Unit on Thursday organized a special awareness programme for school students on the dangers of drug abuse at the Dorbar Hall, Mission Compound  here. Speaking as Chief Guest at the programme, Pastor Bedonbok Syiem, Director Urban Mission KJP Synod Sepngi said, “School students are most susceptible to drugs abuse.  In my work experience as a counselor I have observed that most of the youths start consuming drugs and other intoxicants during this time.”
