Awareness programme on drugs held

Goalpara, August 6: The alumni of Habraghat College, Krishi and the Interl Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) on Saturday organized an awareness programme among the students on drugs and its ill effects.  The programme was arranged at the conference hall of the Habraghat HS School and was presided over by the principal of the institution, Mohim Uddin Ahmed.   Sikdar Hanif Uddin Ahmed, Kandarpa th and Afjal Hussain, all three lecturers of Habraghat College, attended the programme as the resource persons and focused on the subject citing various examples and appealed to the students to refrain from the drugs. Tarun Rabha, president, Rabha Hasong Autonomous Council (RHAC) attending as the chief guest, advised the youth to spend their energy in a positive way. Earlier, Khatibuddin Ahmed, president Alumni Association, delivered the welcome speech and Mahanta Roy , secretary, explained the purpose of the awareness programme.
