Awareness programme on Krisan Credit Card loan organized

GAURISAGAR, August 19 : Krishak Nyas, a leading NGO of Sivasagar district  organized an awareness programme on Krisan Credit Card (KCC) loan in association with tiol Agriculture Bank for Rural Development (BARD) on Tuesday at  Phulpanichiga Anchalik Rass Utsav Kala Krishti Kendra premises.

The dignitaries attended the meeting were Lakheswar Mahanta, District Development Mager, BARD, Sivasagar, Pabitra Borah, Branch Mager, UBI, Jhanji Branch, Dhrubajyoti Sarmah, Branch Mager, IDBI, Sivasagar Branch, Ranjit th, Village Level Extension Worker, Jamuguri Agriculture Circle. Addressing the gathering Pabitra Borah rrated how to get KCC loan from bank. He also dwelt length on crop insurance. Ranjit th urged upon the farmers to get the benefit of KCC loan. In his speech Dhrubajyoti Sarmah opined that the farmers should take KCC loan which amount in actually requited.

He told the farmers not to invest KCC loan in non productive sectors. Addressing the farmers, Lakheswar Mahanta rrated briefly about the prospect of KCC loan. He highlighted the farmers about the benefits  of Pradhan Montri Bima Suraksha Yoja (PMBSY), Pradhan Montri Jibon Jyoti Bima Yoja (PMJJBY), Atal Pension Yoja & Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yoja (PMJDY).

Earlier, Himadrijyoti Dutta, Chief Secretary of Krishak Nyas explained the objective while Rajib Dutta, Publicity Secretary anchored the programme. A total of 70 farmers from various villages in greater Jhanj Phulpanichiga area attended the programme and exchanged views with Bank magers regarding KCC and other bank loans.
