Awareness programme on NRC update

MORIGAON, Nov 28: To remove all fears and apprehensions regarding the NRC update process, Morigaon Deputy Commissioner conducted a few awareness programmes at Laharghat and Mayong blocks in the district recently. Deputy Commissioner Hemen Das called upon people to be fearless about the NRC update process. On the other hand, Superintendent of Police Swapneel Deka assured that genuine citizens should not worry about the NRC update process.

They said that all efforts had been made to bring out an error-free NRC and urged people not to believe in rumours.
