Awareness programme on Swachh Bharat Abhiyan

Golaghat (Dhekial), October 20: A non-governmental organization ‘Parivartan’, with cooperation of Numaligarh Refinery Limited, organized an awareness camp in Golaghat town recently  to create awareness on cleanliness and  sanitation under Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. In press release, the director of the organization, Leander Toppo stated that handwashing demonstration and distribution of leaflets on Swacha Bharat Abhiyan were carried out during the programme. Attending the programme, the vice-chairperson of Golaghat Municipal Board, Juri Das Rajkhowa   spoke briefly on the importance of cleanliness and sanitation under Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. Later, she iugurated a sigture campaign.
