Awareness rally on cleanliness in Dhekiajuli

DHEKIAJULI, Dec 9:  To create awareness on cleanliness, the Dhekiajuli Municipal Board workers and 30th CRPF battalion took out a rally on Friday carrying broom on their hands.

The programme started from Swahid Maidan Dhekiajuli at 8 am. The members of Dhekiajuli Municipal Board, ward commissioners, BJP workers and Dhekiajuli Senior Citizen Association took part in the rally.  

The cleanliness drive was carried out at Swahid Moidan, Dhekiajuli town, Dhekiajuli Public Bus Stand area, Lachit Complex, Bir Chilarai Complex, Dhekiajuli Primary Health Centre etc.

Talking to this correspondent senior citizen, Ramesh Chandra Borah said that cleanliness is a part and parcel of our life and everyone of our society should make a habit of it for healthy life.

Atul Chandra Saikia, the secretary of the Dhekiajuli Senior Citizen Association participating in the programme expressed happiness and said that everyone of our society should work for keeping our environment clean.
