Awareness representative meeting held

DEMOW, Jan 18: An awareness representative meeting was organized by Demow Mandal Mahila Morcha on Sunday for women workers of Mahila Morcha of Bharatiya Jata Party (BJP) regarding women empowerment and political awareness at the Demow office of BJP. Dipika Kakoti Dowari, president of Demow Mandal Mahila Morcha, presided over the meeting. Under Demow Mandal Committee, the meeting was organized among the women workers of 20 Rural Panchayats and seven wards of Town Mandal of BJP where Ajay Konwar, State organizing secretary and Kushal Dowari, vice-president of State Krishan Morcha were present. In the meeting a committee was also formed where Dipika Kakoti Dowari was selected as chief coorditor and Jaya ndi Dey as assistant coorditor. In the meeting it was also filized that on January 29 on the basis of Demow Mandal, a Mahila workers’ Sanmillan will be organized in Demow Public Playground. Subhash Dutta, Upper Assam media convener of BJP spoke at the meeting.
