Axis Bank iugurates 4th Rural Banking Branch in Northeast

Guwahati, Dec 22: Axis Bank iugurated the fourth rural banking branch at Amingaon opposite RTO office, Hajo road, Kamrup. The new branch was iugurated by Loya Sinha, Principal- Faculty School and Biplabi Patik, Circle Head, North East Circle, Axis Bank. The branch shall cater to all basic banking transactions and also specific needs of customers, offering the entire spectrum of banking products and fincial services covering Retail, Institutiol and Consumer lending. Speaking on the occasion, Sanjay Silas, President and Head Branch Banking - Axis Bank said, ‘’Axis Bank has strong presence in rural areas with focussed approach towards promoting Fincial Inclusion in rural areas. With the launch of this branch we have reinforced our commitment to make basic banking facilities available to the people in rural regions of the North East.” With this launch, Axis Bank now has 50 branches and 130 ATMs across the state. The bank has around 160 rural & 435 Unbanked Branches present across 27 States and Union Territories. This was stated in a press release.
