AXX centery celebrations begin across the State

DHEKAIJULI, Dec 27: Dhekiajuli Xakha Xahitya Xabha on Tuesday organized a day-long programme to commemorate the centery celebration of Axom Xahitya Xabha (AXX).

Different student organizations, scholars, educationists , Dhekiajuli Municipality Board ward commissioners and all other sections of people attended the day-long function.  In the morning, the main flag of AXX was hoisted by Ramesh Chandra Borah, president of Dhekiajuli Xakha Xahitya Xabha. Thereafter, 100 AXX flags were hoisted by 100 dignitaries who attended the function. Kabidra Das, assistant secretary of Dhekiajuli Xakha Xahitya Xabha, recited a self-composed poem. Prabhakar Barman and Bhupendra Saikia, educationists, offered floral tributes to the founder and workers of AXX.

In this meeting different speakers condemned the controversy surrounding high-profile leaders of the AXX. They opined that due to such controversy the AXX had lost its glory. Ramesh Chandra Borah in his maiden speech said that AXX was the mirror of the culture, tradition, identity and all other pillars of the interl geographical structure of the State. “It is our mother, it is our soul and it is our identity. We should try hard to overcome all the obstacles faced by AXX,” he said.

  In the evening, 100 earthen lamps were lit by all the Xahitya Xabha  workers at the premises of Dhekiajuli Xakha Xahitya Xabh .

BATADRAVA: The gaon district Xahitya Xabha,  in association with Fauzadaripatty Xahitya Xabha wing, on Tuesday celebrated the iugural ceremony of the centery celebration of AXX in gaon police reserve playground with a day-long programme.

The day began with flag hoisting of total 100 flags by 100 dignitaries of gaon town, including Deputy Commissioner of gaon, Shamsher Singh and veteran artist Gyada Borah, followed by smriti tarpan. An open session was also held on this occasion under the president ship of Ratimohan th, gaon district Xahitya Xabha president where former MLA Girindra Kumar Baruah, DC Samsher Singh and many dignitaries took part and spoke about AXX’s glorious achievements.

    Similarly, the Alipukhuri wing of Xahitya Xabha (Batadrava) and Jajori Ancholik Xahitya Xabha observed the iugural function of AXX’s centery with a day-long programme. Both the wings hoisted 100 flags.

DEMOW: The AXX Demow Branch marked the iuguration of AXX’s centery celebration in Demow Public Playground on Tuesday. The 100 flags of AXX was hoisted by various dignitaries of Demow.
