AXX foundation day observed at Jhanji

GAURISAGAR, January 4: The foundation day of Axam Xahitya Xabha (AXX) was observed  recently at Jhanji Jamuguri tya Samaj Kalabhawan premises   under the joint aegis of AXX Jhanji  and Jhanji HNS college branch.

The day-long programme started with hoisting of the AXX flag  by Bi Baruah and Chandan Dutta, president of  AXX Jhanji branch and Jhanji HNS College branch respectively. Later a drawing competition was held among the school students. Thereafter an open session was held under the chairperson of Dr. Krish Kanta Hondique, retired Vice Principal and former president, AXX, Jhanji Branch. Chandan Dutta, Associate Professor, Department of Assamese, Jhanji Hem th Sarmah College graced the meeting as an appointed speaker. Earlier Jibamoni th, secretary, AXX, Jhanji HNS College branch anchored the whole programme while Pratap Kumar Baruah, secretary, AXX, Jhanji Branch offered the vote of thanks.
