AXX Kunhi function held at Jhanji

GAURISAGAR, October 13: Axam Xahitya Xabha(AXX)  Sivasagar committee  and in association with its Jhanji Sakha Samiti organized  Kunhi function at Jhanji GirlsHigh School recently. The AXX has been organizing Kunhi function in different part of the State with a view to unearth talent of upcoming generation. The function was conducted by Bi Baruah, president of AXX, Jhanji Branch and was attended by Swar Jyoti Baruah Borborah, chief convenor of Kunhi, Assam, Smriti Rekah Mahanta, District Coorditor, Kunhi, Sivasagar and Babul Kumar Baruah, Executive Member of AXX, Sivasagar  district committee. Swar Jyoti Baruah Borborah gave a keynote address about the aims and objectives of Kunhi. In the function a total of 70 participants took part and recited self-composed poems.

Earlier Pratap Baruah, secretary of AXX, Jhanji Branch anchored the programme. The  programme started with a chorus performed by the artistes of Jhanji-Jamuguri Surjya Sikha Mao Parijat.
