DEMOW, June 23: Asomiya Yuba Mancha (AYM) demanded full repair of embankment of rivers in Demow on Thursday. During rainy season the erosion takes place in the rivers of Demow and the people staying near the rivers have to face serious problems alleged Asomiya Yuba Mancha (AYM), Demow Regiol Committee. In the meantime due to the erosion, the condition of the embankment became very poor alleged Asomiya Yuba Mancha. Regarding this under the leadership of Humen Gogoi, President and Dhurba Jyoti Barua, Secretary of Asomiya Yuba Mancha (AYM), Demow Regiol Committee, a memorandum was submitted to Demow Circle Officer on June 21. In the memorandum they have demanded the Demow Circle Officer to visit the poor embankment area during the rainy season and also demanded to take necessary steps to repair the poor embankment at the earliest.
