AYM district committee re-constituted

Dibrugarh, Feb 18: With the aim of strengthening their organization, the district committee of Asomiya Yuva Mancha (AYM) had recently organized a general meeting in Dibrugarh where the district committee of AYM was re-constituted, with central committee education secretary Bijoy Shankar Borbora, in the chair. In the meeting, the district committee of AYM was re-constituted  with chief adviser Jayanta Gohain; president bajyoti Das, vice-president Anupam Borpatrogohain; secretary general, Ramen Borua, assistant secretaries , Niranjan Gogoi and Deep Buragohain; organizatiol secretaries Gautam Gogoi and Rupeswar Gohain, publicity secretary Gohin Das; cultural secretary Ijaz Ahmed and education secretary Rajiv Duara and 49 other members. The assistant secretary of the central committee, Abdul Rekib, was also present as an observer. Several important issues were discussed at the meeting where the members raised demands for 100 per cent employment to local youths of the district and construction of at least 700 plastic industries in the State. The committee even took decisions on compulsory implementation on the use of Assamese language in every government/ private, public institute or organizations, and schools of the district.
