AYO calls for infrastructures in new districts

Itagar, March 7: Aruchal Youth Organization (AYO) has requested the state government to create necessary infrastructures in newly created districts in the state. "Numerous districts have been created recently without proper department buildings, electrification, water supply and road connectivity," it said in a representation submitted to Chief Minister bam Tuki, while seeking creation of infrastructures in newly created districts. The organization also requested the state government not to use the general provident funds of employees to overcome the fincial crisis. Expressing concern over the mismagement of sports sector in the state, it said the Sports department is in deep turmoil. The medals tally in the just concluded tiol Games reflects the negligence of the state government to tap budding sportsperson at the grass root level, it said. Observing that Aruchal has no dearth of talent in sports, it urged the state government to groom sporting talents, stated a press release here today.
