AYP organises awareness meeting

Dibrugarh, June 9: To discuss on the indispensable need of wide publicity of the various schemes undertaken by the Government among the common masses, the members of the District Committee of Asom Yuba Parishad (AYP) under their initiative had organised an awareness meeting, at the District Committee Office of AYP, in Chowkidinghee, here, on Thursday.

In the awareness meeting which was attended by more than hundred people, the Department officials of District Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, Fishery, Industry and tiol Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (BARD), while addressing the meeting, informed the gathering in details about the said schemes.

Speaking at length in the said awareness meeting, Duleswar  Moran  of the Agriculture department, Budhin Borah of Animal Husbandry department, Sajjad Alam of Industry department, Rafiq Saikia of Fishery department, Lipika Deori from BARD and Lead Bank Mager, Mukul Kachari, in their respective deliberations extensively spoke on the different features or aspects of the Government schemes.

Earlier, the welcome speech of the meeting was delivered by the District Committee President of AYP, Gauri Shankar Das. The Joint Secretaries of AYP, Arunjyoti Chutia and Rahul Das were also present at the aforesaid awareness meeting.
