SHILLONG, July 20: The happiest music festival returns for its seventh edition with innovative plans. One of the most anticipated events on the country’s music calendar, BACARDí NH7 Weekender will once again kick off in Shillong on October 21-22 following its successful debut last year.
“Every year we aim to offer fans something new as part of the BACARDI NH7 Weekender experience - whether that’s taking it to new cities, or introducing new stages and features, or adding something new to the festival’s canon. And this year too it is no different. We’re incredibly proud to be able to take the quintessential festival experience to Hyderabad for the first time this year, and to be able to touch new cities like Jaipur, Pondicherry, gpur and Mysore as part of the BACARDI NH7 Weekender Express. There’s a lot more surprises in store on the road to the festival and we can’t wait to share all the details with fans in the coming weeks. Since 2010, over 100 artists belonging to different genres have played at BACARDí NH7 Weekender. The festival has evolved to become one of the country’s most beloved musical weekends as thousands of fans and discerning music lovers converge for an unforgettable experience.
The 2015 edition witnessed performances by some of the most acclaimed intertiol headliners and stellar mes from the Indian music scene, including A. R. Rahman, Mark Ronson, Megadeth, The Wailers, Rodrigo y Gabriela, Dr. L. Subramaniam, Kailasa, The Raghu Dixit Project, NUCLEYA and Bhayak Maut.
