Bagan Bazaar iugurated

JORHAT, August 30: Bagan Bazar, a newly-introduced special project by the State Government under the tiol Rural Livelihood Mission, was iugurated on Tuesday by Jorhat MP Kamakhya Parasad Tasa at Dafaliting and Gubindapur TE in Jorhat. Addressing the iuguration meeting, Kamakhya Prasad Tasa said, “The State Government has taken various steps for the tea garden labourers for the fulfillment of their needs. Tea garden labourers will be benefited by the Bagan Bazaar. Tea garden people will be taken essential commodities at minimum price at Bagan Bazaar.” The meeting was iugurated by Utpal Doley, Project Director of District Rural Development Agency. He said the district administration had already iugurated Bagan Bazaar at Kachajan, Chungi, Charaipani and Bukahula TE in Jorhat district. Bank officials, magers of tea garden and local people were present in the meeting.
