Bagan Bazar iugurated in Golaghat tea gardens

GOLAGHAT (Dhekial), August 31: Newly-joined Deputy Commissioner of Golaghat district, Gourav Bothra opened a Bagan Bazar at Chokiting, Doria and Oating tea gardens of Golaghat district on Wednesday.  Aimed at making available essential nutritiol items for tea garden labourers, the Bagan Bazar has been opened under the aegis of State Rural Livelihood Mission and with the help of Assam Gramin Vikash Bank. Iugurating the Bagan Bazar, Deputy Commissioner Gourav Bothra said that the magement of  Bagan Bazar had been handed over to SHGs, where the SHGs would be self-dependent and would be able to develop economically. In the opening programme, the circle  officers of Golaghat and Khumtai, Kahnidra Das and Lani Borpatra Gohain respectively, mager of Assam Gramin Vikash Bank, Dipankar Baruah, and Bivekanda Sonowal, BDO in-charge of Podumoni Development Block were present.
