Bakul Gogoi gets 'Tree Man' title

Gohpur, April 29: Gos Bihu initiator- cum-founder of nature preservation organization Amar Banani, Bakul Gogoi was conferred the title of ‘Tree Man’ by All Assam Sahitya Sanmilon recently at the Rudra Baruah auditorium in Jyoti Chitraban, Guwahati. Noted poet, litterateur Kaberi Kachari Rajkonwar, Rabindra Borah, Riju Hazarika, Ram Goswami and Dr. Buljit Buragohain attended the 6th annual award ceremony of All Assam Sahitya Sanmilon. “Since past few years I was called Tree Man. But today All Assam Sahitya Sanmilon has given me the title. I am very grateful to the organization,” said Bakul Gogoi.
