Bandh affects normal life in Bongaigaon

Bongaigaon, August 29: The 24-hour Assam bandh called by All Koch-Rajbongshi Students’ Union (Pradip Ray faction) affected normal life in Bongaigaon town.
All shops, markets, banks, educatiol institutions remained closed during bandh hours. Commercial vehicles did not ply on the roads and only a few private vehicles were seen on the roads.  Incidents like tyre burning were reported in several places of the town.  No other unwanted incident occurred during the bandh hours.
