Bandh cripples normal life

KALAIGAON, Dec 16: The 12-hour Assam bandh called by People’s Democratic Movement for Badoland (PDMB) for creation of separate state on Friday paralyzed normal life in Kalaigaon. The organization alleged that they were demanding the separate state for last 87 years. But the government ignored their demand accordingly. Government offices, banks, schools, college remain closed during the bandh. Streets wear deserted look as buses and other vehicles were off the roads. No untoward incident was reported.
