Bandh? paralyzes? normal? life? in? hill? districts

Diphu, April  10: The  first  12-hours  of  the proposed  36-hour  Karbi  Anglong  and West  Karbi  Anglong  bandh  paralysed  normal  in both the hill districts on Monday. All the educatiol  institutions, business  establishments, fincial  institutions  and markets  were  closed  during  the  bandh  and  vehicles  were off  the road. Altogether  24 organizations, including political,  non-political  and civil  societies,  have  called  a 36-hour hill  districts bandh  beginning  from  5 am  of Monday in support of various demands.
