Bangladesh bound cattle seized

DHUBRI, June 20:  A cattle consignment worth over Rs three lakh was today seized by the BSF in Dhubri district of the State along Indo-Bangladesh border. BSF sources informed that as many as 40 cattle were seized from Hatichar , Choukichar , Bhogdahar and Siipar area in the district which was being smuggled into Bangladesh. The cattle were worth over Rs three lakh in value, the sources added. Cattle smuggling through the porous intertiol border in Dhubri has been among the problems the BSF combats in the border, besides its task of checking infiltration.
