Bangladeshi apprehended in Yamumukh

GAON, Aug 1: With the aid of some local people, Hojai police on Saturday apprehended one illegal Bangladeshi from Borjari village Yamumukh area. The Bangladeshi has been identified as Sajib Hussain of Badalpur village in Nuwakhali district of Bangladesh and his father’s me is Saiyad Ullah. According to the sources, he came to Assam by crossing the Indo-Bangla border near Agartala on July 24 and allegedly paid Rs 2,000 to the Border security personnel and then entered into Indian territory. He came to gaon and then he took shelter in Borjary village of Yamumukh area. The local police later got the information about him and launched a search operation for him and was able to b him.
