Bangladeshi tiol held, cattle seized

SHILLONG, Sept 6: BSF troops deployed in South West Khasi Hills (SWKH) district of Meghalaya apprehended one Bangladeshi tiol from the intertiol border who had illegally crossed the Intertiol Boundary.

yan Miya (48), a resident of Cheragaon village in Sumganj district of Bangladesh had intruded for extracting stone from Indian Territory illegally.

In another incident, the BSF troops seized 29 cattle from the bordering area of Lynkghat in East Khasi Hills district of Meghalaya while being smuggled into Bangladesh from India.
