DIBRUGARH, March 31: Arrest of another Bangladeshi tiol here within a short span of the previous such arrest is a clear indication of an alleged sty design to bring the upper Assam area under the domain of foreign tiols.
The police team led by the Additiol Superintendent of Police (Border) Dharmendra Das arrested Kanu Ali (27) from Barbarua on March 30. Ali, son of Kashem Ali, Abza village of Moulovi Bazar, Shylet in Bangladesh was produced before the court on Tuesday. The court, after hearing, sent Ali to Central Jail (notified Detention Center), Goalpara.
A cross section of people while expressing their serious concern over the development have called upon the people of the area to keep a close watch and inform police ,if found any foreign tiol in the vicinity without taking law in hand.
