Banks asked to provide mobile banking van in KNP

Golaghat(Dhekial), November 17: The Deputy Commissioner issued an order to bank authorities of SBI, UBI, AGVB, Axis Bank and Vijaya Bank to provide mobile banking van in Kazirang tiol Park (KNP) to help the tourists in getting currency notes. In a press statement, DIPRO, Golaghat said that instructions had been issued for resolving the cash problem of tourists of Kaziranga tiol Park by exchanging old notes and getting new ones. In the same order, the DC also instructed the bank authorities to find out if mobile banking van was needed in the rural areas. The DC has appealed to people that if any person faces problems while making payment in tent houses, hospitals or any business establishment then he can lodge complaint.
