Barak Banga Sahitya’s convention from Feb 6

SILCHAR, January 16: The central convention of Barak Upothakya Banga Sahitya O Sanskritik Sammelan will be held here at Banga Bhawan on February 6, 7 and 8. The well –known poet and litterateur Chinmoy Guha will iugurate the three day long convention. Besides, folklorist Jahirul Hasan and the recipient of Kirtibas Award Angshuman Kar will also grace the occasion as the guests of honour. In order to make the event a grand success, a host of committees have already been constituted. The preparation for the convention is going on in full swing.
