ACKHSA has mentioned various legitimate demands of the people that need to be addressed at the earliest. It has been stated that the Chief Minister already knows about the level of corruption that has been plaguing various departments of the valley and is causing a hindrance towards achieving the goals. Corruption from top to bottom has made life miserable for the people who have to suffer a great deal in getting their work done. In such a situation, it is necessary to stand up against the vice of corruption. The members reposing their faith in Sarbanda Sonowal’s efficiency mentioned it in particular that the health and education services should be improved to begin with.

ACKHSA as a non-political group has assured its full-pledged support to the Chief Minister in his visiory plans. Many issues continue to g the valley. The district lacks specialized departments in neurology and nephrology, besides a trauma centre. It has been requested that meritorious students from fincially weak background should be provided with proper facilities for their education and more teachers should be recruited so that the problem of dearth of teachers can be resolved. Owing to indiscrimite cutting of jungles, the forest area is decreasing day-by-day. Forest conservation is very important, otherwise, it will have adverse effects on the environment and create health-hazards. One of the most important demands placed by the members of the association is the quick publication of the much-awaited tiol Register for Citizens’ (NRC) list and the abolition of the detention camp so that the sufferings of the detainees come to an end.

They have also mentioned about the 11 martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the sake of Bengali language. The memorandum has pleaded for the immediate publication of Mehrotra’s report on the May 19, 1961 firing. Alleged to be a pre-planned firing, the report will make it clear whether it was so or not.
