Barcelo confirm Traore sale to Aston Villa

Barcelo, Aug 14: FC Barcelo confirmed the sale of winger Adama Traore to English side Aston Villa on Friday in a deal thought to be worth around 10 million euros (around 11 million US dollars) on Friday. Traore expressed his satisfaction at the move to the Birmingham based side, saying it was "an honor for me to come here to a club that showed interest in signing me and has made me feel important for their plans. The 19-year-old last season made a handful of appearances for the Barcelo first team, but has spent the majority of his time with the Barcelo B-team, making a total of 63 appearances, and scoring 3 goals in 37 games last season.
