BARD's PLP 2018-19 for Kokrajhar district released

Kokrajhar, Feb 20: The Potential Linked Credit Plan (PLP) for 2018-19 in respect of Kokrajhar district was released by Biren Ch. Phukan, Principal Secretary of BTC, in the presence of KK Sinha, General Mager, BARD, Gopith Basumatary, LDM, UCO Bank and Ratan M.Soram, DDM BARD, in the office chamber of Principal Secretary, BTC, Kokrajhar on Monday.  PLP of BARD is an annual planning exercise identifying the potential activities, infrastructure gaps, critical interventions required and suggestion of various departments for development of the district and strategize focused flow of bank credit to priority sector. A credit potential of Rs. 515.04 crore has been estimated under Farm Credit, Agriculture Infrastructure, MSME, Education, Housing and Social Infrastructure for the year 2018-19 in respect of Kokrajhar district.
