Bathou silver jubilee celebration concludes

KALAIGAON, May 4: Darugachuba Bathou Committee organized its silver jubilee at Darugachuba with a four-day long programme from April 30 to May 3.

The programme started with flag hoisting of Bathou on April 30. On the occasion, a new temple of Bathou was iugurated by Nersan Boro, Deputy Speaker of BTC. A religious semir and other prayers of Bathou were also held. Meanwhile, an open session was held and this was presided over by Thulunga Boro.

Jungsar Boro spoke in this meeting where Romeo P rzary, vice president of ABSU, attended as chief guest. Addressing the meeting, he said that the people should keep faith in religion as religion could keep the society strong and peacefully. Rangjali Baishagu was also organized along with the Bathou silver jubilee celebration. Senior citizens were felicitated with Bihuwan in this meeting.
