Bayern Munich sign winger Gbry from Bremen

Munich, June 11: FC Bayern Munich on Sunday announced that they have agreed terms with fellow German football club Werder Bremen to sign young Germany winger Serge Gbry, who will pen a three-year contract.

“We’re pleased that in Serge Gbry another young German intertiol is coming to FC Bayern. Serge has developed a lot at Bremen,” Bayern chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge said in a statement.

The club also released the 21-year-old Gbry’s reaction on playing for the five-time European champions.

“It’s a great honour to become part of FC Bayern. It’s going to be an exciting time and one that I’m very much looking forward to,” Gbry said.

Gbry has earlier made 10 appearances for Arsel and 27 appearances for his former Bermen scoring 11 goals last season. IANS
