BAYM demands immediate repair of Hari Pora Road

DEMOW, February 4: Babul Machuwa, acting president, and Dhurba Jyoti Barua, secretary of Brihattar Asomiya Yuba Manch (BAYM), Attabari Regiol Committee stated in a press release that the condition of Hari Pora Road which connects Demow Chariali with Attabari and Attabari Deroi Ghat, is in a dilapidated condition due to which many accidents took place and the people were injured.

There are many potholes on the road. The people of the area informed about the deplorable condition of the road to the Public Work Department (PWD) and Sushanta Borgohain, MLA of Thowra Constituency, but till date no steps have been taken to repair the road.

BAYM Attabari Regiol Committee has given a deadline of 20 days and if the road is not repaired, the student body will protest against the local MLA.
