BAYM stages protest

JOYSAGAR, Oct 25: Brihattar Axomiya Yuba Mancha (BAYM), Central Committee leaders and members has staged a sit in demonstration on Tuesday in front of the Central Gate of ONGC, zira Head Office. The organization alleged that the public sector oil corporation has not given much importance in solving unemployment problem of Sivasagar district. Besides BAYM also alleged that ONGC should come forward to make Sivasagar a tourist city and also the oil corporation should take initiative to make Sivasagar as a big business hub of Upper Assam. But there seems no interest and goodwill, alleged the President of the organization. The demonstrators later submitted a memorandum to ED, ONGC, Assam Asset.
