BAYM to gherao residence of Tasha

DEMOW, September 27:  On Sunday the Brihattar Asomiya Yuba Manch (BAYM) of Demow Town Samiti organized a press meet at Demow Higher Secondary School where they pointed out different problems of Demow area.  To demand resolution of the problems of Thowra constituency, on November 1 BAYM activists will gherao the residence of Thowra MLA and Jorhat MP Kamakhya Tasha , said BAYM Demow Town Samiti president Jadumoni Kalita, secretary Anshuman Barua and secretary of Sivasagar District Samiti, Jadab Gogoi at the press meet.  The three student leaders said that people of Jyoti gar and Lachit gar were facing the problem of artificial flood for a long time but the authorities concerned had done nothing about it.  The condition of Demow NH-37, Hari Pora Road and other roads in Thowra Constituency was deplorable condition.
