BAYMM holds meeting on completion of Duliajan-Tipling road

DULIAJAN, SEPTEMBER 25: A meeting was held on September 24 at Deputy Commissioner’s Conference Hall, Dibrugarh amongst DC,OIL officials,Chief Engineer of PWD,Dibrugarh,Circle Officer of Tengakhat revenue and representatitives of Brihottar Asomiya Mohila Mancha (BAMM) Circle regarding the matter of incompletition of Duliajan –Tipling 5 km. length main road even after completition of four years.It is to be here mentioned that OIL India Limited had hand overed 24.32 crores to PWD,Dibrugarh four years before.PWD ,Dibrugarh had tendered this work for immediate construction of 5 KM.distance Tipling-Duliajan Railway Station Road.Accordingly  the work was hand overed to three contractors.But after four years the construction of work has still not completed alleged by BAMM.In the meeting,DC had directed PWD engineer to complete the incomplete work within coming six months.This is stated in a press communiqué by BAMM,Duliajan Regiol Committee’s president Mikshi Gogoi and Secretary Ranu Tamuly respectively.
