BCPL asks job seekers to be aware of unscrupulous agencies

Dibrugarh, March 27 : Unscrupulous agencies and a group of persons are involved in nefarious activities and have been trying to dupe the job seekers by fraudulently offering false employment opportunities in Brahmaputra Cracker and Polymer Ltd. (BCPL) and other PSUs here.

It has come to light, during an investigation, that one Mamta Chopra has been inviting job seekers to surf website www.resulttion.in where an advertisement has appeared for recruitment in a number of Public Sector Units (PSU) including BCPL. However, the BCPL authority has clarified in clear terms that neither BCPL nor any of its officials have any connection whatsoever with Mamta Chopra.  BCPL authority  has denied that they are in no way participating in any such recruitment exercise being conducted by Mamta Chopra under the  website   www.resulttion.in.  

“Information provided regarding job opportunities in BCPL on the said website is fake and fabricated,” the authority asserted.  They also cautioned the general public not to fall prey to such dubious advertisements and stated that recruitment in BCPL is carried out through a well-established and transparent selection procedure. The vacancies are notified through open advertisement in Employment News and leading tiol and local newspapers. Job openings are also hosted on their website www.bcplonline.co.in  with complete details and selection procedure. Interested and eligible individuals applying against notifications have been asked to apply online only through the website. Applications in any other mode are not entertained. BCPL does not solicit any money whatsoever from any candidate at any stage of the recruitment process, other than the prescribed application fee as advertised in the job notifications. The BCPL authority further stated that the candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD are exempted from payment of application fees.

The authority, however, has clarified that they will not be responsible in any way for any amount paid to any individual or group of individuals/agencies purporting to be representing BCPL.
