BCPL celebrates World Environment Day

Dibrugarh, June 6: World Environment Day (WED)  was celebrated in various units of Brahmaputra Cracker and Polymer Limited (BCPL), a Central Public Sector Undertaking under Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, the main petrochemical complex being located in Lepetkata, Dibrugarh, Assam.

Programmes such as online quiz competition for employees, drawing competition for children of employees on this year’s WED theme “Connecting People to ture” were organized. Banners were displayed at various plant locations to promote environment conservation and eco-friendly practices. The event concluded with tree plantations in Lepetkata, Lakwa and Duliajan Unit of BCPL. This was stated in a press release.
