BCPL gets 18th Annual Green tech Environment Award

Dibrugarh, June 8: Brahmaputra Cracker and Polymer Limited (BCPL) won the prestigious 18th Annual Green tech Environment Award 2018 ( Gold category) in petrochemical sector. Two officials Pranjal Changmai, General Manager (Chemical) and Tamagna Ghosh, Manager (Chemical) represented BCPL and gave a presentation at New Delhi on April, 30, this year. The presentation along with interview reflected BCPL’s commitment towards environment and excellent performance towards healthy environment in day to day activities. BCPL was selected for Gold Award in petrochemical sector in 18th Green tech annual environment Award, 2018.

The team involved in the submission of application, presentation & interview for the award, attended the Greentech annual conference and environment award 2018 on June 1 at Guwahati headed by Reep Hazarika, Chief General Manager (O&M) and received the prestigious award on behalf of BCPL.

The award was presented by Kamleshwar Sharan (Chairman & CEO, Greentech Foundation) along with Rajesh Rajan (Pappu Yadav) (MP, Lok Sabha), Parimal Suklabaidya, Minister of Environment & Forest and others. This award created a milestone for BCPL towards the journey of an environment friendly petrochemical production and its commitment toward sustainable social responsibilities as a PSU.
