BCPL marches forward towards its goal

Dibrugarh, March 30: The Brahmaputra Cracker and Polymer Limited (BCPL), a petrochemical complex based at Lepetkata, has crossed production of one lakh metric ton of various grades of polymer and 13,500 metric ton of Liquid Hydrocarbon during the stabilization stage. BCPL is continuously producing prime grade products which are readily acceptable in the market.
The plant was commissioned in the beginning of the year 2016 and dedicated to the tion by Prime Minister of India, rendra Modi on  February 5, 2016 . With a sales figure of more than 82,000 metric ton of polymers in such a short span of time, BCPL has established its brand and is making its presence felt in the petrochemical sector of India.
BCPL also started marketing liquid nitrogen recently, the first tanker being flagged in the beginning of February this year. In addition to this, tiol Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (BL), the sole accreditation body in India under the aegis of the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, has recommended BCPL’s Quality Control Laboratory for BL certification. With a view to ensure ease and transparency in procurement, e-tendering has been introduced in BCPL from January  onwards and has been marching towards in achieving its goal with creditability.
