BCPL organizes Saksham-2019

Dibrugarh: Brahmaputra Cracker and Polymer Limited (BCPL) observed Sanrakshan Kshamata Mahotsav, Saksham-2019, an initiative by the Petroleum Conservation Research Association ( PCRA) under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas (MoP&NG) to create awareness on fuel conservation.

The event commenced with the inaugural and pledge-taking ceremony where AK Singh, managing director, was present as chief guest. An awareness session for drivers was organized at the Material Gate of BCPL and a mass rally was conducted on NH-37 for sensitizing the local people of Barbaruah and Lepetkata areas about fuel conservation. In addition to this, various activities were organized in the month-long drive comprising of auto emission testing workshop, online quiz, essay writing competition and drawing competition and awareness sessions for employees and family members.

The event concluded with a meeting and prize distribution ceremony at BCPL Lepetkata. Pruthiviraj Dash, Director (Finance), and P Nagesh, Chief Operating Officer, along with other senior officials and employees graced the occasion.
