BDO Samarendra Das' demise condoled

DIBRUGARH, April 5: Block Development Officer (BDO) of Barbaruah Development Block in Dibrugarh district, Samarendra Das passed away on Saturday at a local nursing home here after prolonged illness. He was 50,

Das is survived by his son Sankov Kaushik Das, wife Roma Saikia Das and a host of colleagues and admirers.

Amiable in ture, Das who hailed from Jyotipur in Bokakhat obtained his postgraduate degree in English from Gauhati University and latter settled at Tengakhat.

His death was widely condoled by staff, employees and colleagues. In a condolence message, Deputy Commissioner MS Manivann expressed his deep condolence and conveyed his heartfelt sympathy to the family members.
