Beautification of Tezpur through wall painting programme

 Tezpur, May 21: With a motive to bring awareness for beautification of Tezpur among the people residing over here, a wall painting programme was initiated on Sunday under Swachh Bharat Mission in front of the walls of Tezpur Government Girls’ Higher Secondary and Multipurpose School under the joint venture of frontline NGO Edupur Society and Tezpur Municipal Board. The programme was iugurated by Puspa Deka, chairman of Tezpur Municipal Board and art initiated by veteran actor Arun th in presence of several dignitaries among others. Amit Raj Konwar, founder secretary of Edupur Society, Tezpur while initiating the programme emphasized the need to sustain the glory of historical city Tezpur. He further urged all sections of society to lend a hand in this Swachh Bharat Mission by maintaining proper cleanliness and hygiene so that the city should reflect its rich heritage and culture.
