Believers’ Church distributes medicated mosquito nets

KOKRAJHAR, May 8:  Believers’ Eastern Church, Diocese of Bongaigaon, on the occasion of World Malaria Day, distributed 200 medicated mosquito nets among widows and rickshaw pullers at the diocese office premises at Mainao Nwgwr in Chirang district recently. The programme was organized by its Women Fellowship. The organization is a church entity patronized and led by Rt. Rev. Dr. K.P. Yohannan, the Metropolitan of the church. The church aims to help the poor section of the society. Rev. Fr. Ajay Tulsiary, the Vicar General of the Diocese, while distributing the mosquito nets, said that people could prevent malaria by using these medicated mosquito nets.
