Bengaluru Woman Jumps Off from Neighbour’s Flat and Dies on the Spot

A 26-year-old woman, a wife of a doctor in Bengaluru, Sohal Agarwal, jumps off from a flat in her apartment complex and dies on the spot on Sunday evening. The woman, resident of flat no. 505, jumped from another flat of their complex (flat no. 501) by entering into it when the residents of the flat were not at home.

It is suspected that Sohal had some other intention on entering into her neighbour’s flat and was compelled take this deadly decision of jumping off from it on seeing the residents coming back to the flat while she was inside it.

Wife of a doctor of a reputed hospital in Bengaluru, Sohal also left behind her infant son. Her flat was in the fifth-floor of Mantri Alpine complex on Uttarahalli Main Road, near Rajarajeshwari Nagar and the neighbour’s flat from where she jumped off too was on the same floor.

The police said, “Sohal is believed to have entered a neighbour’s flat (No. 501), which was locked. She is suspected to have jumped from the flat when its residents arrived.”

She might have entered into her neighbour’s flat with an intention of lifting ornaments and other costly things but failed. DCP (west) Ravi D Channannanavar added, “Gold ornaments and the flat key were lying in flat No. 501 when we went there. We are taking a statement from the residents of flat No. 501. We will investigate the case from all angles.”

As per the security guard, they had rushed to the spot on hearing a sudden heavy sound of thud, but could only find Sohal dying on the spot, lying in a pool of blood on the ground.
